Are you passionate about giving back to your community? Do you love staying active and making every step count? Mercy 4 Mankind invites you to take part in a movement that blends health, community spirit, and charitable giving. Through our city-based charity runs, we’re empowering individuals across Canada to come together for one common goal: supporting healthcare and giving back to those who care for us most.
Who We Are: The Mission Behind Mercy 4 Mankind
Mercy 4 Mankind (M4M) is a charitable initiative organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) in Canada. Our mission is simple but powerful: serve humanity by supporting vital causes across Canadian communities.
We organize charity runs in cities all over Canada to raise awareness and funds for local hospitals and healthcare organizations. From Run For Brampton to Run For Innisfil, each event carries a distinct purpose—yet all are united under a single banner: mercy and service to humanity.
Why We Run: Making Every Step Count
Each of our runs is tailored to support a specific local cause, often involving partnerships with community hospitals, food banks, or healthcare foundations. These aren’t just races; they’re platforms for real impact.
- Healthcare Support: Many runs are dedicated to supporting hospitals by raising funds for life-saving equipment, patient care programs, and infrastructure needs.
- Community Strength: We unite diverse groups—residents, businesses, civic leaders—to foster a stronger, healthier community.
- Healthy Living: We promote an active lifestyle while encouraging participation from all ages and fitness levels.
City-Based Runs: A Cause in Every City
Our runs are named after the cities in which they take place, making them personal and community-driven. Each event serves a local hospital or healthcare initiative, ensuring that funds raised stay within the community.
Here’s a snapshot of some of our most impactful runs:
Run For Innisfil
Partners with Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) to fund its South Campus and enhance healthcare access for Innisfil residents.
Run For Brampton
Raises awareness and donations for William Osler Health System Foundation, which services one of Canada’s fastest-growing and diverse cities.
Run For Barrie
Supports the Barrie Food Bank, ensuring families in need have access to essential resources, especially during times of crisis.
Run For Newmarket
Backs local hospital foundations like Southlake Regional Health Centre, contributing to crucial medical advancements and patient programs.
Each run has its own local flavour, drawing in participants from all walks of life. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a fun walk with your family, you belong at a Mercy 4 Mankind run.
What Makes Our Runs Special?

These events are more than just races—they’re vehicles for change. When you run with us, you’re directly helping real people in your community.
2. Family-Friendly Atmosphere
We welcome everyone—kids, seniors, casual walkers, and serious runners. There are usually 1K family walks, 3K fun runs, and 5K timed races, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Canada’s strength lies in its diversity—and our runs reflect that. You’ll see volunteers, faith leaders, politicians, and citizens all coming together for one shared cause.
